Simon Jephta Murphy, Sr - Correct Name?

I usually work in Ancestry.com or Family Search (LDS) website. I don't know where the name came from. It is fine with me however you want to change it. Right now I am struggling with the Henry Percy line, the Plantaganet line, and I think the DeBruce line is coming up, where everybody has the same name. I didn't expect to find more than my grandparents when I started this, so I am a bit overwhelmed. The LDS site has lines all the way back to BC. I hope I live enough years to finish this for my granddaughter. The americans have been the hardest. Anything you want to do is fine with me. I hope your search goes well. I don't see Jephta anymore in ancestry except in one of the children. I have tried to copy what the 3 other family members put down. I hope this helps.

Well, we all seem to be in agreement that the middle name is a later addition. I'm going to remove it. It can always be added back if someone can present documentation to validate it other than just what has been perpetuated in some personal trees. Thanks for your feedback and collaboration. :)
