Tree work today brought me back here again and I see the problem persists. Ancestry had a link to her FInd-a-Grave page that shows her parents as Francis Smith and Elizabeth Waddy:
So I fixed it based on Find-a-Grave. I'd rather the curator, a profile manager and/or closer relative had sorted it out and documented it, but it has been six months since my first post and no one had touched it. So, if Find-a-Grave is wrong, I hope someone will continue working to provide correct connections. Thanks.
