A Geni user who is researching the Kolb families has been reviewing our trees and comparing them to some source documents she has that certainly seem to give evidence that it is possible this Mark Fretz was actually married to this Gertrude Kulp rather than the one he is currently connected to on Geni:

Gertrude Kulp

In A Brief history of John & Christian Fretz, which can be viewed here:
https://www.familysearch.org/library/books/records/item/58626-a-bri...=

If you search the book for "married three sisters" you can see on page 31 of the book (page 53 of the online scan), there is a footnote that reads "It is rather remarkable that three brothers, Abraham, Mark and Christian Fretz, married three sisters, vix: Dorothea, Gertrude, and Judith Kulp, and a cousin John Fretz of the Bedminster branch who emigrated to Canada, married Mary Kulp, also a sister of the above."

Then on page 115 of the book (179 online) of the book again this is all further expanded on this and again states Abraham Fretz married Judith Kulp and lived in Tinicum Mark married Gertrude, sister to his brother's Abraham and Christian's wives.

On page 33 of the book (57 online) again Mark Fretz married Gertrude Kulp Dec. 22, 1772. Mark married second Mary, wife of Abraham Fretz (son of Weaver John) Sept 26, 1780

This definitely leads me to want to move this Mark away from the Getrude he's currently connected to and instead attach him to
Gertrude Kulp

But I didn't want to make this change without reaching out to others since I see so much pasted into the about me section on the profiles and a number of managers who might have conflicting information.

Anyone have some thoughts on this?

I just joined Genie Pro. I don't know the source, but in a handwritten family tree from my mother, she shows Gertrude Kulp (married 12-22-72, died 5-9-1780) as married to Mark Fretz, son of Tinicum Christian Fretz. Also note they had a homestead in Tinicum Township, Bucks County, PA. Additional note that Tinicum settled on Tinicum Creek (Neanee's Mill) and came from Manheim, Germany between 1710 and 1720. I think you're correct in connecting Mark to Gertrude Kulp.

They had a daughter Judith Fretz (born in Bucks Co, PA on 3/5/1775 and died 11/24/1794). Judith married Mathias Dinstman. Mathias and Judith moved from Bucks Co. to Westmoreland Co. PA in wagons (and perhaps later to Columbiana, Ohio). Their daughter Anna Dinstman was my great, great, great maternal grandmother.
