Although its incorrectly repeated throughout the internet, the Thomas Kelly born 1792 in Virginia (today's West Virginia) who married Margaret McCurtain, removed to Ohio and had 10 children, is absolutely NOT the same Thomas Kelly born ca 1792 in South Carolina. who married a different Margaret, removed first to Georgia and then to Upshur County, Texas, and had four (obviously different) children. You can see both families in the 1850 and 1860 censuses, etc.living about 1500 miles apart, etc.
