How can I see/browse a list of pre-defined locations, other than the geni _manage locations_ screen? My problem is that, on this screen, one must type in a search string in order to see locations already in the database. However, it takes hours and hours to wade through the myriad of already-captured locations listed by the same search string, because only 3 or 4 search results pop up at a time, demanding a new search string entry after editing or deleting each one.
My contention is with highly specific street addresses (obviously only intended for a single entry) popping up when entering an address in an edit profile screen, which encourages a user to click on the popped-up details (frequently very, very far from the mark!). Therefore, if I have a way to list and edit all entries for e.g. Gauteng Province, South Africa, I should then be able to select and delete those entries that contain personal (therefore rubbish) pre-defined locations.
As the system works now to edit and/or delete existing pre-defined locations, it is just too time-consuming and thus demotivating to even try to address or update. My personal experience is that a search string is a bottomless pit of garbish.
A method of calling up a listing of pre-defined locations will do wonders, especially if it also facilitates multiple selection for deletion/editing.
