Pedro de Bobadilla (Fernandez de Bobadilla), Conquistador de Nueva España - Father of Pedro de Bobadilla (Fernandez de Bobadilla)

I have seen many family tree references to Francisco de Bobadilla y Maldonado as Pedro's father, but no documentation. Francisco was the second governor of the West Indies, having replaced Christopher Columbus. Does anyone have any basis for the linkage between these two or between Pedro and Francisco's wife, Maria de Penalosa y Toledo?
