As for Frances Slocum, I believe this is the Frances Slocum who is well documented in various literature as having been captured by Deleware from a caucasian family and married into the Miami group in Indiana. I think she was married several times. Her birth and marriages are recorded along with her story and she was the subject of art by George Winters.
