Fritz loved both flying and ham radio. During World War II he was a transport pilot and flew personnel for the U.S. Army from the states to Europe. He also flew many army soldiers to places in China. (More about this can be found in Ancestry. com in the tree of Robert Wolf, of whom Fritz was also an uncle). After the war, he continued his love of flying and became a pilot for the state of Ohio with duties as the personal pilot for the governor of Ohio. As with all eleven children of Henrietta and Fredric Wolf, he was an accomplished musician (piano). In addition to his love of flying he also loved and raised miniature dachsunds..
