Photos and Documents in the project - shortly directions
Just for clarify, for all Us and all Geni Users,
A few directions for upload a Photos and Documents:
1. Every person who upload a documents in the project, please be aware that you after when you upload, put and fill all fields:
Title, Date, Location, Description and other things such as mentioning a sources or citations (for example: name of authors, title, etc..) source of uploaded document, and after that put a document visible on the public mode.
2. Also add in which part of a Collection is on your side. (is - a Census, Newspapers, Other)
3. If a document what you want to upload, have a content with more pages than one, please before upload put all pages and collect in the one file , when you do it then upload a whole document.
4.. Do not upload a separate pages of the same document, or separate pages of the same source/books/literature.
5. A Reason: It would be a useful, better and easy searchable, for anyone, if all pages are part of the same uploaded document such as one file and part of document.
