Since information was posted to this site I believe more evidence has been made available online to see that Mary Sparks was not born in Warkwickshire, nor did she die in Warkwickshire in 1816. She most likely died in India.
- a subsequent volume of Heraldica was published which corrected the name of her father to be Luke Sparks
- Luke Sparks was an actor living in Convent Garden, London
