"It includes individuals who can be definitively placed at Acre, and not those who crusaded but never reached the city or who joined the crusade or Saladin's ranks after the armies marched south of Acre in late August 1189." Page 191 Appendix D. lists "Ralph Aubeni" as present at the siege. In 1191, 33 conflicts occurred. It is sad that there appears to be no indication of the date or conflict when Ralph succumbed to battle. Or, maybe he was inflicted with disease that caused his demise in 1191.
