Merge with Lupi Family Table available (recent studies, therefore secondary sources)

All the tables of the same source have given excellent proof of reliability and accuracy in 2 years of insertion & FIX far and wide for the main Italian lines, finding perfect congruence both with the national encyclopedic studies, and with the much here revered MedLans.

The line not being of international interest is all well explained in Italian, even the Wikipedia page between the 4 languages, English is not available.. google is not like being mother tongue but it should give the idea:

-"According to the seventeenth-century genealogist Ippolito Calandrini, the family descends from Sisulfo or Gisulfo, son of Lupo del Friuli, in turn a descendant of San Lupo da Troyes [1]. " {St. Lupus, bishop of Troyes}
*https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meli_Lupi

-"Calandrini's work refers to many sources, both historiographical, such as the chronicles of Matteo Villani, and notary and documentary sources. It is no longer possible to verify many of these sources, as they are very ancient documents, prior to the year 1000, now irretrievably lost. With the exception, however, of the eighth century parchment by Liutprando, king of the Lombards, which refers to the first Marquis de 'Lupis di Soragna, still preserved in the archive of the Meli Lupi princes in the Rocca di Soragna near Parma, still owned of the family."

it is useless to translate everything here, and in any case I would not be the most indicated person.. ..especially if we wanted to exclude them a prior because they are based on the sources of the documents "now irretrievably lost".

in Italy I have collaborated with many good people, but in particular Erica Howton & https://www.geni.com/threads/6000000107105057908 you have seen me untangle the most complicated things, and these Table never go at random..
..I believe that such a lateral merge could be joined since I thought of leaving link & description at the source on each profile so that at any future time it will be possible to know. What do you think about it?

(Lupi, Lupis, de'Lupis, Luporum.. changes over time ..the name of the lineage inserted in the surname so high ancient was only provisional and is not indisputable)

*Lupus Luporum, duke of Friuli
**Arnefrit Lupi, of Friuli
**Theodrada of Friuli = Romuald I, duke of Benevento?

Jason Scott Wills - you curate Lupus Luporum, duke of Friuli (looks inherited) - an opinion?
