WikiTree doesn't allow manually uploading the haplogroup assignment but it comes from the test that was taken. I am not sure the process used on Geni.com
The descendant on WikiTree that uploaded their results shows haplogroup H1b1b which is a different subclade than H31b1b. Since I can't see the DNA test here because I am not a full member I thought I would post this here since I researching someone with H31b1b haplogroup and somehow all the descendants of this haplogroup are related and I am trying to see if I can find a recent common ancestor.
Anyway, just noticed this discrepancy and wanted to point it out.
Thanks!

I just logged in to FTDNA web site to check (they did my mtDNA test) and it is H3b1b1. Also I am the person that uploaded the test results on Wikitree. But my account has been locked (due to a major dispute with Wikitree) and they deleted all my DNA test. The comments on Sarah Graham's profile are from someone that saw the DNA tag before it was deleted. They may have made a mistake. I need to go there and see, its been several years since I looked at Wikitree. (I can no longer loggin, they blocked my entire family)
If your hunting H3b1b1 I would love to help, I am a full member here. My GEDmatch ID Number is T264674.

Thank you Linda, that makes more sense. The DNA test is still showing on Sarah's profile on wikitree so I added a note that the haplogroup of the test was mis-typed. I didn't realize you could type it in so I learned something new.

My Gedmatch kit is LD205140C1 but I am K1a1a. I am researching a distance ancestor who's mother has come into question and is a brick wall. Two female descendants have taken the mtDNA test and came back as H3b1b1.

My email is maeverettsews at gmail.com and I would to work with you!
