Martha Ann Mary Jessop - Martha Anne Jessop

Hi there,
hope you can help. I am researching the Blincoe family tree and have a few Jessop/Packer questions. On-line I found ‘Early New Zealand Eatwell -Ivy Thorn part 2’ in this Ivy states that her Grandfather ‘ John Packer married Martha Jessop of Hope, a deaf Christian girl and they went to the hills of Maitai to live’. I am descended from this union and am wondering if other siblings or relations were also deaf of whether she was deaf in fact?
