Has anyone on here heard of the last name Scudgeons or Scudgins, or any kind of spelling of the name? My great grandmother was Sallie Mae Scudgins and I cannot find anything on her parents. I was told by family members all my life that she was Cherokee and was born in Blount County, TN which would be Maryville. I have seen her name spelled many different ways. Please help if you know anything. Thx.
