There are 2 brothers called John who were both alive at the same time

John William Wheeler, Convict 1830 born 1801 London, died 1872 Australia

John Wheeler, Free Settler "Mary Ann" 1822 born 1807 Somerset, died 1846 Australia

Father - George (Ayers) Wheeler, Convict "Shipley" 1817
Mother - Sophie (Pope) Ayers - Wheeler, Free Settler "Mary Ann" 1822

A son called John WHEELER arrived in Australia in 1822 (age unknown)

In the 1828 Census - John was aged 22 - ie born approx 1806

There is a gravestone of John WHEELER died 22/5/1846 aged 43 - ie born approx 1803

Can anyone add any information on this family?

Looking at various internet trees
John WHEELER born 1801 London died 1872 Australia arrived in Australia in 1830 as a convict for stealing a coat
He married Maria Ann Doltin HOGG (1811-1857)
