I am thinking there are two John Gale in this era....Are these three wives correct? I see there have been some merges and the FS profile is of little help as sources are lacking. The MyHeritage shows Elizabeth and Barsheba. Milcah is from a merge. That John has different parents and I trust it is correct as I am familar with the two profile managers being curators at the time.
I am proposing a new profile for the other John.
Erica Howton and Alex Moes can you look please?
Disconnecting from wife Barsheba because her husband needs to be the son of Elizabeth Tickell I think.
James Chapman Gieske, are you familiar with this one? Barsheba is a Maryland Lamb
Hi Cindy; In my records, there are a few "John Gales". Bathsheba Lamb b. 5/30/1729 (note spelling) married John Gale 12/11/1745. Of their many children, there was also John Gale who married Elizabeth Pearce. John Gale's father, also John Gale, married to Mary Carlisle Gale. His father, Lt. Col. John Littledale Gale (1610-1680) was married to Elizabeth Ghiver Gale.
John Gale married to Bathsheba also had a son John Wesley Gale (1765-1850)
Hope this helps!
I don't know if you can open this, but it is all in there: https://www.geni.com/family-tree/index/6000000003108758923
James Chapman Gieske, we have to go profile by profile. Barsheba Lamb Gale had two John Gale husbands showing. The Johns have been mushed.
James Chapman Gieske, may take some time to get an answer as many people are not online on week-ends, etc... I have been working on them still today and I usually do NOT work on genealogy on week-ends.
I was excited to find a FAG memorial and several curated profiles to merge into but I am still waiting for which John Gale for this father of Rasin, etc.
James Chapman Gieske upload the pdf to Geni as Document. You can then tag all the profiles mentioned in the pdf and references each fact for each profile as a Source.
Cynthia Curtis, A183502, US7875087 i am not familiar with Maryland in the 1700s you'll have to do this one without me.
Thankyou so much Alex Moes. Sounds like good advice James Chapman Gieske! I will work on Colonel vs Gentleman John Gale again tomorrow.
I think it is coming together and I will look for sources
Thank you all
