I am trying to solve a bit of a mystery. All information that I have found says that Elizabeth Tarvin Stafford, born on 25 Dec 1846, died in 1879. However, her son, J. Bert Stafford was born on 3 Aug 1881. Can anyone verify or confirm any information proving Elizabeth's death date? Her tombstone even says 1879, but I don't see how this is possible. I have a copy of Bert's birth certificate that has Elizabeth and Nathaniel's names on the birth certificate.
