Found a Richard Wait and Ann Dugless marriage record 3 Feb 1705 in the Parrish Register of Christ Church, Middlesex Co, VA from 1653 to 1812. This could be Richard Jr.'s parents. His middle name is Douglas. Spellings change. Not sure about her birth date. Also found a Richard Waight died 10 Dec 1724 and Richard Waitt died 10 Aug 1715. Very confusing.
