Can we have a citation for the tradition? Rashi’s writings? Solomon Luria’s responsa? Elsewhere?

The information appears in many sources(Including Rashi himself who wrote that he was a direct descendant of King David) I have written about this in previous posts. I will try to explain briefly
Several years ago researchers thought there was a mistake because they thought one of the ancestors was childless
Now (according to Naftali Wakstein) the subject is being researched again (in-depth research) and they have come to the conclusion that the same ancestor had a daughter
And the information is correct. But, according to Naftali Wakstein, not all 22 names are known. in my opinion
