Some people mark the main first name with a star, while others seem to like to mark it by setting it all capitals...
None of these are handled by geni in any way as far as I have seen?
Maybe geni should start trying to parse these or adopt a preferred way to mark primary first name? I think it might be a good idea..
Apart from the two examples above it could also (with the current user interface) be marked by adding the primary first name to the the Alias line for the profile. (A change of title of that field might be a good idea in that case maybe...)
Geni might handle it by showing the main name in bold, compared to the other first names, maybe?
I don't like the current situation, where some people use upper-case, which might be semi-automatically removed by some tools, and the star which some may think dont look so pretty in names.
What's your opinion on this? Maybe it's already being discussed somewhere else?
