Please show a source for a Hannah Carrier, and a marriage record for her and Dewey, showing Hannah Carrier, or remove. My ancestor Joseph K. Hall's parents are Dewey Hall and Hannah Kneeland. His middle name, K., is most likely Kneeland, after his mother. Joseph was born in 1786, and there is no other Joseph Hall, b.1780 to Dewey. See the East Hampton records.

The age of Hannah at death, coupled with the date of her birth, proves that this Dewey did not marry Hannah Carrier, as the Strong genealogy suggests. Hannah Carrier would be a different age at death. Not sure why some have a 1780 death for Hannah K.
