The Tuscarora were defeated in 1713.
English colonists who were Patriots. Research and you will find the documents to prove this. But to state they were Tuscaroran chiefs is just fantasy and I’m not sure what the motivation to change them from what they were is. Serving on the Council of Safety was a big service.

If Samuel Smith b 1709 was Tuscarora Chief- and Edith is a child of such marriage.
Wouldn’t that make the children part Tuscarora??

These family lines are claimed in title honorarium from the role they played in oversight of the Patriot Tuscora bands in NC Chicasaw. The curators have locked this per the request of the Folsom descendants in great numbers who are present day Chicasaw and Choctaw and who trace back, arena tree, to these lines.
