hello to you too, cousin. I show his wife as Elizabeth Vose, 1777-1840, he was born in Haverhill but moved to Sutton, New Hampshire. Yes, there are other Elijah Eatons at different times in our history. My second great-grandad, General Ariel Kendrick Eaton moved from New Hampshire to Iowa, his son Sumner was born there. Ariel married twice with no children from the first. After he was widowed, he married Sarah Jarnigan, who was a native America with a white father, the scandal was huge, I guess which had something to due with their move to Iowa. I have been on Ancestry for a long time and have done a lot history on our family.
