Susanna Fourie, b1 SM - Alternative Data After Merges

Good afternoon Sharon,
Jean Nel and Susanna Fourie are my 6th great-grandparents on my mother's side, however, for some reason this is currently not correctly reflected and I would need to rectify that – all the other ancestors before and after them are indeed correct. When I finally managed to update my Nel ancestry in June/July, thanks to missing names/info received from a Nell nephew, Susanna's death date on Geni was 29 April 1762 and I had no reason to change it – I did not even have her birth year. So I am not sure about 17 April 1762? Kind regards, Martha Schüngel

I have gone back to my tree and discovered why Jean Nel and Susanna Fourie are not correctly reflected and I am a bit lost here... their names appear on the same vertical line (instead of in the add-on box) as their son Louis Nel who is actually my 6th great-grandfather and they would be 7th great-grand-parents. This means two generations have been combined into one? What a mess. How do I correct this without creating a bunch of duplicates? I include the link to explain my predicament.
