Hi Susan,

Thanks for sharing these.

Just to clear things up - my great grandmother Alice Curran (b. 1910, d. 1977) did not move back to Kentucky. She died in San Diego.

Edgar Charles Curran (b. 1872, d. 1956) was her uncle, so my 3x great uncle. He was married to Margaret Anastasia Powers. I've actually corresponded with his grandson, Richard Worthington, who just found out last year in his 70's through a DNA test that he is really Richard Curran and was accidentally switched with another baby born at the same hospital in 1944. What a story.

However, my great grandmother Alice (Curran) Collins did move back to Fort Mitchell from Middletown, Ohio sometime in the late 1940's or early 1950's to live with her brother Charles Curran (b. 1913, d. 1990). She likely could not afford a house after her husband Harry died so my grandpa and her moved in with Charles' family. I actually met Charles' granddaughter Arden last week. It was fun to connect with her.

As far as Alice giving birth to Leonard - I don't think that's even possible. He was born in April 1918, she would've been 8 years old. He could still be a Curran but not her kid.
