Wasn't "Thomas "of Cobbs" Burton" one of the two brothers who came from England, and purchased the Cobbs property etc etc? (John of Longfield Burton being the brother?
Then why does the profile say that he was born in Henrico County?

Also please consider that Richard Burton and Catherine Christian were NOT the parents of Thomas and John Burton. Why ? Because their marriage date is repeated as being 1606; (or there abouts, and people cite the church even) - but how in the world would Richard and Catherine go more than 25 years without having children, and then begin having them in their 50s? That makes no sense. Others cite a Thomas Burton as the father of both Thomas and John, (and the son of Richard, which makes sense) - but others say there is no evidence one way or the other. Please - those of you in the know? Please clean up this profile for those of us wanting to learn.
