So, I go to Find A Grave to look up Owen Carpenter and Sarah Rachel Smith Carpenter and their kids. The list of children John Andrew Meyer created doesn't include a Sarah. Could we possibly have made a mistake with Sarah Scroggins' parentage? If John Meyer is correct, our Sarah Carpenter Scroggins is the daughter of someone else and not Owen and Sarah Rachel Smith Carpenter.
Does anyone else have some additional proof? I don't.
