Richard was most likely deceased before the battle of Bosworth.
The Hudleston's mentioned with Richard the third are Sir John and
another John Hudleston probaly his second son.
It is likely that Richard Hudleston the husband of Margaret Nevil(e)
died in late 1484.

He was appointed receiver of Cumberland and Lancaster in July 1483
Constable of Beaumaris Castle in November 1483 and Master Forester
of Snowden and North Wales in December 1483. He is listed in May,June and
December 1483 on the lists for Cumberland. He is not listed on these lists for 1484.
Most notably he is not listed in March 1485 when Nicholas Musgrave's property
at Hayton near Aspatria is attacked whilst his father Sir John and all his Cumberland relatives
are listed as being called to help sort out the trouble. On the 10th of February 1485 Sir Richards
Constable duties granted for life by Richard the third are granted to Robert chamberlain knight
of the body and to his son Ralph Chamberlain. If he was living and at Bosworth and the eldest son
of Sir John Hudleston and a bodyguard of Richard the third I think he would have had a mention.
If anyone has seen a mention of him at Bosworth I am here waiting to be persuaded.
