9402 Maria Pauls (Peters) - Maria's date of death

Maria was my Great Grandmother. Most records have her date of death as 11 Nov 1897. However, I can't find any actual evidence of this. No records on Find a Grave. No death records. No headstone photos. I have looked on Ancestry but found nothing. I think I got this date from GRANDMA years ago. BUT. I have a 1900 Census record that seems to be her with Bernard. At first I thought he remarried, but the record says the couple had been married for a long time. Can anyone help? I plan a future trip to Marion County, KS to see what I can find. Thanks for your input!!
