It is perfectly obvious that Cynthia Hicks ihas stolen my Coyyrighted materail from FamilySeach, con and laced it on Geni, She has also deleted the documented daughter Mary Harris Gilliam from Edward Harris d1780 and the documented daughters Sarah and Judith and son John from their father Edward Harris Sr. This kind of behaviviore does not belong on Geni, deleting documented material that has long been proven and verified. As a certified professional genealogiist that has researched this Harris family for 60 years, and been the Family Tree DNA Lead Harris Researcher since 2005, i think I known this family better than any Ancestry or Family Search shilll l that is just looking to add to her Profilfe count. And I have many Geni viewers that have made the same statements and Cynthia Hicks stealing material and false.trees.

Private User Are you sure, from looking at who did revisions, that Cynthia did the citations? Because in straightening out the two Gilliam Harrisses, I did go into FamilySearch and copy citations over to Geni. I don’t think I added anything copyrighted, but l’ll review Geni - again - and make sure attributions are the best possible. I’ll also use FS to make sure the children match between Geni and FS correctly.

As geni profile & tree history, this may be useful information.

In 2016 ftDNA decommissioned their Y search tree of submitted pedigrees, and made a deal with geni, which absorbed those trees. The original tester shows with the name HIDDEN to protect privacy, and it’s also how long term members can recognize these trees. They also have a specific create date of “added to Geni on March 31, 2016.” Many of these profiles show Customer Service as the manager, but many do not; they show “regular” geni members as the manager.

Yet Cynthia Hicks was not a geni member in 2016, and she did not add these profiles to geni. She “adopted” them (requested management through profile view > manager options > request management). As profiles without owners geni allowed - in fact, encourages - this profile re assignment. Cynthia has been a responsible “custodian” by trying to match / merge them into geni trees.

Looking at revisions for Mary Gilliam is a little deceptive. It “looks like” I disconnected her from parents - yet she’s well connected to parents (I’m going to add a curator note actually to make it even clearer).

I think that’s from time stamps shown by the server logs may be a little laggy.

BTW, she seems associated as a Free Person of Color, but I don’t see that on her siblings?

I don’t see “documented daughters Sarah and Judith and son John” currently on Geni so I’ll copy them over from https://familysearch.org/tree/person/details/L41X-KQR

The children Sarah born 20 Jan 1706,Judith born 5 Jan 1707 (and son John born 24 Ar 1710 (along with son Thomas born 14 Jun 1712) were on the Edward Harris profile with brother Edward Ned Harris that Cynthia Hicks deleted.. These are all documented on the New Kent Parish Register that includes births of two daughters Agnes and Mary born to his first wife Elizabeth,The 2016 Decomississiond Y Search gedcoms were obsolete and incorrect to start with. That is the bnly reason that FDTDNA was allowed by the European Union to disclose then to anyone. I have all of fthe Harris gedcoms and a few other Surnames that I administer. NONE OF THEM ARE CORRECT. FTDNA is not allowed to disclose the actual kit number owner his name, or his progenitor or any part of his lineage under European Union DNA Regulations under 1,000,000 lb fines which ancestry has been warned of..
All of my messages to Family Search were by email and therefore automatacly copyrighted to me under the Milleniel Copyright Act. Since FamilySearch also places a copyright in EVERYTHING posted on there website, everyting I have posted there is doubly coyrighted to myself or familysearch.Just read their Terms of Use. I have reported Cynthia Hicks taking these family search items from them.

You are missing the messages Cynthia Hicks has sent me under a "Stephen Edward "Fighting Ned" Harris query about yDNA Symbology meaning" which are not her business and bear no reletionship to this Edward Harris 1780. It apppears that she is just tryingto get me to add documentation and name of wife and chilldren that she can copy back to FamilySearch. 1st I need to know if there are actuallly two Gilliam Harris of NC and a Gilliam Harris of KY still on familysearch.as I left them in January, or has someone merged then as I suspect and who did it?
