Spain control what is now Sabine Parish, Louisiana from the 1700- into early 1800"s. They had a fort east of Many that use to control that area. The area what is now Sabine Parish, Louisiana was claimed by Spain and the Untied States until the 1820'S I was born IN Sabine Parish, Louisiana and people would refer to it as no man land. In the early 1800's Spain and Untied States agree to it being a neutral zone or no man land. Untied States pulled back from the land both countries was claiming. After Louisiana Purchase Spain was giving land grants there. In 1820"s they agree Sabine River would be the boundary. If they had set the boundary east of Many, Louisiana that would be Texas now.

What does this have to do with your request to add Dovie Beatrice Pliler (Williams) to the Sabine Parish in which I gave you the authorization to do so?
