Lyubov Bella Luba Bakscht (Shamsonov) - Lyuba Shamsonov - Incorrect information?

Hi everyone, I've been in contact with Galit about this profile... she and Rina are closely related and want to exercise their right to ensure this part of their family tree is correct. Currently this profile is a duplicate of a private profile that they co-manage.

Private User it looks like you used SmartCopy to reproduce one or more family trees that were already on MyHeritage. Are you interested in having the debate about Lyubov's parentage, or is it really just something you were casually copying over to Geni? Galit says she has Lyubov's birth and marriage records (in Russian) so she's confident that the parents shown here are incorrect.

What I would like to propose is that I help Galit and Rina merge the duplicates, but in doing so they are going to want to cut loose the incorrect parents and possibly remove distant managers (see https://help.geni.com/hc/en-us/articles/229704067-What-are-my-manag... ) -- but we want this done in the spirit of cooperation so I'm inviting the other users who are involved to comment here before we proceed.

Private User I deleted the above link (and Galit's message above yours) because they are accusing another user of something when there's no evidence of malice. The deleted community post indicated that there are incorrect parents on Lyubov -- something we'll settle once we've had a chance to let everyone have their say.

The original correct profile for Lyuba Shamsonov is below. Her birth name is Beylla (Белля). Luba was her nickname. All documents (proof) are attached to that profile and linked to her parents. Beylla (Luba) Baksht

Private User you deleted the duplicate, which is NOT what I proposed. I've undeleted it and merged it into this profile, per the original plan. I've also made this profile public, per our guidance that profiles of people born more than 150 years ago should be public.

However since parentage is in dispute, I would appreciate Galit uploading the birth records she found to the Sources tab -- that will help establish these parents as the correct ones despite what other trees around the Internet say. Galit wrote to me that "[this connection] is all based on assumption that mother of Luba had brother Leib. His last name was Lapidus and he supposed be a father of her great grandfather." If Private User or anyone else has evidence of that, please upload it as well.
