There's inconsistencies that I am unwilling to mess with as i'm not pro, and i don't have enough knowledge on this end of the family.

I agree. A look at the timelines and the names (English and German) of the children shows that something is very unlikely right. It is having a trickle-down effect of messing up my records for later generations. I don't find enough sourcing for the data to feel confident about picking up a thread and running with it. I'm no Pro, either.
