Note written by Anice Middleton, nee Posey, 18 Jan 1974, great grand daughter, Benjamin should be full blooded Creek, reference to a page 541, Dawes Role?, William A Posey his grandson an 1/8th no 2428 (what is this number tribal ID?), census #736, (I assume is a family designation for all member of that family 736).

Can anyone verify?

736 refers to the search card number on the final Dawes Roles, 2428 refers to the roll number

We also note that Ben is not on the Dawes Role as he was kicked off in an affidavit, stating that he was removed as a result of another family wanting their members on and it was more of a personal grudge, which was accepted in those years
