As a researcher of Hungarian ancestries, I would not describe any connection I have to your Romanian Schreiers as close. The nearest would be my Hungarian wife's great aunt Aranka Czetell who marrided oil tycoon Marcell Schreyer, and Armand Tenner who was her step grandfather. Perhaps you could check those two out on Geni and see if you relate to them in any way.
