My name is Michael Hall and I am a US history collector. I have an emphasis on ephemera and found a hand written IOU note which appeared to have been written by Eli Gibbons on June 27th, 1812 to Elihu Stow(e) in the town of Granville. The IOU was for $1.11 to be paid back in a month. It was signed by Eli Gibbons.
