Information in the Internet reflects that she had 8 children - 4 males and 4 females. However, you only show one female in you chart. The reason for my question is that one of my relatives, Rafael Berlanga De Hostos married my grandmothers sister Ramona Rosario (Cirila) Viera Marquez in Naguabo, P.R. the 19 November 1887. Rafael Berlanga De Hostos was the son of Valentin Berlanga Basso, native of Ecija, Sevilla, Spain and Juana De Hostos (all of the Civil Registrations Records on family members indicate that she was from Morovis, Puerto Rico). The Family Berlanga De Hostos appeared in the Naguabo, P.R. and Punta de Santiago Area of Humacao, P.R. in the 1870 to 1880 period. So far in my research I have not found any further information on Juana De Hostos ior whther she was born in Mayaguez or Morovis, Puerto Rico. It isd interesting that the roots of both families (De Hostos and Berlanga Basso) are from Ecija, Sevilla, Spain.
Family Folklore indicates that "Juana De Hostos died and was burried in Santo Domingo - the same as her brother Eugenio Maria. Upon her death, her husbandf Valentin Berlanga returned to Puerto Rico with his five children (Rafael, Valentin, Juan, Francisco and Aurelia).
