There are two mentions in Boston newspapers of Jeremiah's death, but neither show the actual date of the death:

Another note about the children of Jeremiah Allen, d. 1750. Jeremiah's brother James Allen died and was probated in 1757. The record lists 5 children of Jeremiah: James Allen, William Allen Jeremy Allen & Martha Allen minors children of Jeremy Allen, and Abigail Belcher wife of hon. Jonathan Belcher of Halifax Nova Scotia Esq. & one of dau. of Jeremy Allen dec'd brother to said James. Abstracts of the records are:

Jeremiah Allen, Jr., married Mrs. Abigail Waldo:

So it appears that there two Abigail's associated with Jeremiah Allen, Jr., a first wife Abigail Waldo, and a daughter Abigail (Allen) Belcher.

2) Bond of Edward Tyng merchant, John Tyng gent. & Isaac Dupee merchant all of Boston, dated 20 May 1734, Edward Tyng guardian of Abigail Allen minor aged about 6 years granddau. of Jonathan Waldo late of Boston gent. dec'd [Suffolk Co. Probate, v. 18 (new series), p. 509-510].
3) Abigail Allen of Boston spinster, whereas Edward Tyng of Boston Esq. on 20 May 1734 was guardian in right of her grandfather Jonathan Waldo late of Boston merchant dec'd, guardian discharged, dated 25 Jul 1749, Abigail Allen ack. Boston 25 Jul 1749 [Suffolk Co. Probate, v. 42, 509-510?].
The birth of Abigail daughter of Jeremiah, in about 1728, is consistent with the marriage of Jeremiah and Abigail (Waldo) Allen, in Mar. 21, 1727/8.

5) On 27 Jan last & 9 Feb following will & codicil of Jeremiah Allen late of Boston Esq. dec'd proved, administrators to his sons James Allen & Jeremiah Allen executors, dated Boston 9 Feb 1741[/2?]; will of Jeremiah Allen of Boston Esq., to Mary his wife £250 per year as widow but if remarried £100 per year, to my son-in-law Mr John Wheelwright £50, to my dau.-in-law Mrs Martha Allen £1000, to my dau.-in-law Mrs Elizabeth Allen £350, to my grandson Jeremiah Wheelwright £2500 when 21, if dec'd & no lawfull issue legacy void, remainder to my two sons James Allen & Jeremiah Allen, 2/3 to James eldest & 1/3 to Jeremiah, sons James & Jeremiah Allen executors, dated 26 Jun 1736, will presented to executors, witnesses Boston 22 Jan 1741[/2?], codicil to my wife Mary Allen, dated 24 Oct 1736, witness 9 Feb 1741[/2?] & witness 10 Feb 1741[/2?] [Suffolk Co. 6) Will of James Allen late of Boston clerk dec'd proved, administrators to his sons John Allen & Jeremiah Allen executors, dated Boston 18 Oct 1710; will of James Allen of Boston clerk, in 74th year of his age, to my dau. Hannah Danforth wife of Reved Mr Samuel Danforth of Taunton land in Boston which I had of her mother, mention of her dau. Eliz. Danforth, to my son John Allen land devised to me by my Uncle Penn dec'd, to my son Jeremiah Allen, to Jeremiah & his dau. Mary Allen his granddau., mentions my dau-in-law Mary Allen wife of my said son Jeremiah, 2 sons John & Jeremiah Allen executors, my 3 children Hannah Danforth, John Allen & Jeremiah Allen, dated 12 Mar 1705/6 [Suffolk Co. One other item. The Jeremiah Allen was a son of James Allen who came from England to Massachusetts in 1662:

Discussion of Rev. James Allen of Boston, Ejected Minister & Fellow of New College, Oxford, came to NE 1662 or 1663, installed teacher at First Church 9 Dec 1668, d. 22 Sep 1710 age 78 [b. abt. 1632], son was minister in England and d. Northampton [NEHGR, v. 3, p. 119].
In records of the First Church in Roxbury of Rev. Samuel Danforth, under 1662, mention of "This sumer several came to vs from England. mr. James Allin, minister" [NEHGR, v. 34, p. 88]
