Madeleine Catherine Manibusan - Remembering Madeleine

I still remember the first time I met her in 1987. She was working for Hughes Aircraft Company Space & Communications Group in El Segundo, California, in the Spacecraft Wire Harnessing Department. She and I were taking a commuter bus that the company provided to help deal with the traffic problems in Los Angeles. We both left the bus almost every evening at the intersection of Venice Blvd. and Centinela Ave. That was the beginning of an adventure that I would never forget....
