Hello. I’m trying to find information on the family of Maximilian Breth born 24 December 1882. His parents were Moritz, And Antonia. He came to the US at a young age. I zero info on any of his siblings... who they were, if they too came to the US... if any were killed by the Nazis. Any help appreciated.

Hello dear Jennifer

Saw your SOS. Happen to have a bit of time today. Took a quick look at Goltsch Jenikau archives - and they luckily clearly cover your BRETH family.

So to start e.g. Max's birth record, Moritz & Antonia's marriage record, Moritz's probable birth record as "Moses" BRETH - age at wedding slightly inaccurate (frequently the case) but parents of groom definitely given as Salomon BRETH & Dorothea, née BRETH - on GENI already:

Salomon Breth

I'll be adding these profiles here ASAP (may take several days to get round to siblings & co. )

Always happy to help - and hope this may bring you pleasure ...

BEST WISHES!

There was a similar inquiry today from someone else on the Jewish Genealogy Portal on Facebook -- I assume you know each other and these are related questions? I have also begun to add some information on this family (Max's wife and children) and will help with his siblings as I am able to do so.

Looks like a lucky collaboration is evovlving here"

It'd be good too if e.g. you Jennifer could add any further details you might have to hand about this family.

Every little piece of the genealogical jigsaw puzzle helps to create a clearer, fuller picture ...
