Hello,
I am looking for information on my ancestors who became FRANK after emigrating to US (Philadelphia). Their names were Peisach FREUND (b. 1862) and Chaje Golde HAAS (b. circa 1869 in Chortkiv). They became Philip and Clara FRANK in the US.
Several of their children, including my great grandmother Eva, were born in the Jezierzany area of Ternopil.
Peisach’s father was Ezra and his mother was possibly Zlate. I have not been able to find anything about Chaje Golde’s Haas family. I am hoping to find out more about the Freund and Haas families and find other ancestors.
