I am curious if this James Roark is the same person as Lieutenant Charles James Roark of Grayson VA who served in the American Revolution guarding Clinch Mountain Pass who was listed on Capt. Enoch Osborne's militia lists 1781, and who is confounded with a Charles Baker Roark SR of Ashe County NC who was married to an Abigail.
