Need Curator Assistance to Enable Edting / Connecting Lines

I found Mary's parents on her Find-a-Grave page:

But I'm unable to add them or to edit her profile.

This started out that I have two Fugate 1st cousins on Ancestry DNA matching me as 4th cousin to both. My Geni pathways are way much farther back than that, so we have an unidentified closer connection. I'm a direct Tate descendant, so I'm guessing maybe the Tate connection holds clues, but I can't work the lines.

Mary Fugate (Tate)'s husband doesn't have a path to me either because he needs merging with his duplicates who do connect to me:

Of course, I can't do the merges on him.
