William Cave - William Cave's birth date impossible with mother's death date

Top left is a son John born to William Cave October 1589. Common names. Howden so probably not them but came up as a hint on mine.
This William is my direct as well and I have not given him any parents in my personal tree at Ancestry.

I put the birth date back that had been there first. The notes in the overview that look like a source are not a source; they came from one of the web tree formats (I recognize the style.) So there is no real authority for the problematic birthdate.

Hi, I am from Newfoundland..My Great Grandfathers name is William Cave from Change Islands Newfoundland.
He has a son my Grandfather, Henry John Cave who had a son my uncle John Cave..not sure if any connection ..hope this helps
