This is a spurious profile. I can find no evidence that there ever lived a man called Louis Behr who was Chief Rabbi of Paris. I have looked through all the Paris rabbis of the period and have also consulted an authoritative encyclopedia of French Jewish leaders, and there is no such person. I believe that this is an invention propagated from "The Heydenreich Saga" by Anna Hoffman. Incidentally, there is also no evidence that I can find in the genealogical records of his putative daughter Diache Behr.
