Sidney isn't a sibling of John Sevier, but rather his first cousin, as she is the daughter of William Sevier, John's uncle. I don't have documentation of this at the moment, but the word of the Sevier Family Historian, who has now turned her attention of that of William Sevier, the younger brother of Valentine Sevier. When documentation becomes available, I'll be happy to post it.
