Looking for good sources (birth certificates?) for John William Murray of Evans Co, Ga.

Born June 22, 1888 Toombs Co, Ga. Married Martha Anderson 1910, youngest son Leslie Richard Murray 04/18/1926. John William died February 17, 1967 in Statesboro, Bulloch Co. Ga. Possibly son of John Michael Murray and Mollie Jane Jenkins.

This is the ONLY line I cannot trace back and I really do NOT want to shell out $75.00+ in birth certificates to find my way back down the line.
