I noticed that you have her in your tree and you have her children's names. Are you a descendant from her line? My gr. Grandmother was Maria Hedwig Heider. My mother was her daughter Auguste Heider born 1892 in Vienna, Austria. We have never found her father's name nor her birth cert although we have those dates and place.
My mother daughter of Auguste and James Douglas Taylor remembered something about a Dr. Singer being a family member. Mom thought that they lived in Germany. Mom had a daughter with her step father Anton Fitz while in Austria when she was about 16yrs old. Her name was Nora Fitzolram. Maria Hedwig Heider came to the US in 1909 but neither Auguste or Nora came with her. Auguste came in 1911 but without Nora. Nora born 1907 arrived about 1924. I located her imigration record but seemed to have put in my files and now can't locate. Seems like she came over with the Singer's. At the time I didn't have Maria Anna's name as a sister to Hedwig. Are you familiar with the Singer story or have any knowledge of her was raising Nora from 1911 to 1922. Would like to work with you. I have been searching this line since `1997 so appreciate any help, stories, rumors or such for clues to the mystery of Auguste's father , Nora, the Singer family and of course Franz Heider and wife. Also my Mom says that father Franz and Maria Hedwig were both doctors in Vienna for one of the Royal Duke's ( Princes). Have you heard this story? It sounds even more plausible since Julius Singer was also a Doctor. Maria Hedwig could not practice here due to not being able to write or read English. She was how ever a mid wife here. So far most of the family stories have proved out plus some others are coming to light.
