Austin Newman - Austin Newman's parentage--or were there two Austin Newmans?

We need to determine if this Austin Newman 1753-1818, married to Elizabeth Woolbanks, was the son of George and Frances Newman, as most trees position him, or of [Thomas Newman, IV Thomas] and [Catherine Newman Catherine Dye Newman]. Were there two Austins, double first cousins, about the same age? If so, we need to disambiguate them.
